Candidate requirements
Strong Scholastic Record:
- Candidates must have at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA.
Active Participation:
- Candidates must actively participate in BAP events. Candidates are allowed no more than one unexcused absence.
- Candidates who are off campus on internships, etc., are excused from participation.
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must have at least two semesters remaining of their undergraduate education.
- Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in ACCT:2200 Managerial Accounting.
Candidate Application Form
If you meet the requirements to become a new candidate, please fill out this form to be considered for candidacy. Once your qualifications have been verified, you will receive an email confirming that you have become a candidate.
Candidate applications close on September 15 at midnight. Please submit the candidate application form to apply!
The application fee can be paid with a debit or credit card via CashNet. Students may pay the fee via check; however, card payment is preferred. Checks must be made payable to Beta Alpha Psi.
**Both the application and payment must be submitted by the deadline to join.**
You do not need to wait to hear back before you start attending meetings. Please see the calendar for meeting locations. We have a meeting every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

Beta Alpha Psi will accept new candidates at the beginning of each semester.
